As Muslims across the world celebrate Eid al-Fitr, the leading All Progressives Congress (APC) aspirant for Ekiti Central Federal Constituency I, Sesan Ayotunde Ogunturoti (SAO), has extended warm felicitations to the Muslim faithful, urging them to embrace the virtues of peace, unity, and deep reflection.
Ogunturoti described Eid-el-Fitr as a sacred moment that signifies the successful completion of Ramadan—a period dedicated to fasting, sacrifice, discipline, and spiritual rejuvenation. He emphasized that the lessons learned during the holy month should not end with the celebration but should be carried forward into daily life for the betterment of society.
He called on constituents, irrespective of religious or political affiliations, to foster unity and peaceful coexistence, noting that sustainable development can only thrive in an atmosphere of harmony and mutual respect. According to him, “Our strength as a people lies in our unity. We must continue to build bridges of understanding and work together for the progress of our constituency.”
Ogunturoti also encouraged acts of kindness, generosity, and compassion toward the less privileged, stressing that Eid is a time to share love and extend support to those in need.
While wishing all Muslim faithful a joyous and fulfilling celebration, he reaffirmed his commitment to providing purposeful leadership, inclusive representation, and people-oriented policies that will uplift every segment of the constituency.
May this season bring renewed hope, abundant blessings, and lasting peace to our land.
